John B. Hosmer
Senior Vice President

Mr. Hosmer has extensive experience with four major US nuclear utilities and a large international engineering and construction firm (Bechtel). As a senior executive, Mr. Hosmer improved troubled nuclear facility performance while building and leading engineering team performance improvement. He is recognized for performance turnaround, team building, project management, technical problem solving and business development skills. John is an energetic doer capable of “out of the box” thinking while creating a vision and finessing implementation. Mr. Hosmer has overseas, Chief Nuclear Officer, nuclear project management, company startup and military officer experience.

UniStar Nuclear LLC Senior Vice President and Chief Nuclear Officer
Responsible for strategy and the development of all procedures and processes required to operate a fleet of US Evolutionary Pressurized Water Reactors.

Marathon Consulting Group Senior Vice President
Responsible for business development and execution of personal and group consulting engagements Led configuration management assessments and developed procedures and training. Led a Yucca Mountain DOE root cause evaluation team and mentored the Bechtel SAIC/DOE executive team.

Unicom Corporation (now Exelon) Engineering Vice President
Was a member of the senior executive turnaround team hired to improve troubled nuclear plant performance while building an in-house engineering organization in support of 12 operating nuclear generation stations.

Florida Power and Light Director, Nuclear Engineering
Was a member of the senior executive turnaround team hired to improve troubled nuclear plant performance while separating the fossil and nuclear engineering organizations.

TVA Engineering Manager
Led performance turnaround at the Sequoyah nuclear station during the last year of a three year restart effort.

Bechtel Chief Mechanical and Nuclear Engineer
Accountable for technical policy and personnel during a period of significant market size reduction and market shift from construction to operation of nuclear facilities. Earlier, was project manager for the restart of San Onofre Unit one, Chief Environmental and Nuclear Engineering responsible for environmental and nuclear technical policy, Project Manager assigned to manage the first major project in the Bechtel Asian joint venture company, PECL, in Taipei, Taiwan. Project scope included the Yenliao nuclear station NSSS and TG international bid evaluation. The $10 billion dollar international bid evaluation was completed on budget and schedule initiating engineering and site construction.
